Sara Triplett’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including actions involving business disputes, financial services, products liability and class action claims. Sara is admitted to the California, New York and Florida State Bars.
- Obtained a critical preliminary injunction for a foreign lender in connection with a borrower’s default on several multimillion-dollar mezzanine loans.
- Counseled a client in a highly sensitive and non-public matter on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and anti-money laundering laws and regulations under the Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act.
- Obtained dismissal, with prejudice, of plaintiffs’ claims on a motion to dismiss in a contested trust and estates litigation involving a protracted family dispute.
- Counseled a client in a highly sensitive and non-public matter involving prospective qui tam relators alleging violations of the False Claims Act.
- Secured a favorable settlement for a well-known biotechnology company in a federal declaratory judgment action after filing trade secret misappropriation counterclaims.
- Defended a Fortune 150 client in all state and federal New York litigation; oversaw all initial investigation, motion practice, discovery, settlement negotiation and trial planning.
- Second-chaired jury trial for a Fortune 150 client, resulting in a favorable settlement prior to verdict.
- Defended a Fortune 1000 client as National Coordinating Counsel in over 120 federal multidistrict litigation mass tort cases; charged with oversight of initial investigation, motion practice, discovery and trial planning.
