Daniel Zhao is an associate in the Corporate Practice, where he focuses on the representation of corporate and institutional clients on matters including merger and acquisition transactions, corporate governance and general corporate matters. He has worked on transactional matters for companies involved in industries including healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and manufacturing.
Prior to joining the firm, Daniel served as an intern at the New York and Los Angeles offices of an international law firm, where he handled civil complaints and related settlement agreements, and drafted debt conversion agreements and other corporate documents for clients. Daniel also served as an intern to a large US-based law firm in Shanghai, where he reviewed corporate contracts and agreements, and translated legal documents.
