Labour & Employment UK Webinar Programme 2025

We are pleased to provide here the details of our 2025 core UK webinar programme.

This programme of webinars is aimed at junior HR professionals and those who require an introduction to key areas of employment law (including managers with responsibility for staffing issues), as well as individuals who are looking to refresh their knowledge in a particular area. These sessions will be led by directors/associates in our Labour & Employment Practice Group.

The main webinar presentation will last 55 minutes, followed by a five-minute online question and answer session.

12 March 2025 – Handling Workplace Investigations

We will discuss the key legal and practical issues to consider when carrying out a workplace investigation, whether it involves a grievance, disciplinary, whistleblowing or other employment matter.

11 June 2025 – Managing Redundancies (Small Scale)

This webinar will act as a refresher on the key steps to take when making small-scale redundancies (i.e. when collective redundancy consultation obligations are not triggered).

8 October 2025 – Reasonable Adjustments – What Are They, What Is Required?

The Equality Act 2010 places an obligation on employers to make “reasonable adjustments” to the workplace and working practices, as well as arrangements for disabled employees. We will discuss when this duty is triggered and how far employers must go.

12 November 2025 – Settlement Agreements

We will explore the key issues to consider when entering into settlement agreements, including when it is appropriate to use them, key issues to be covered and practical tips on how to start a “protected conversation” with an employee.
