Squire Patton Boggs has announced the appointment of Andrew Wilkinson as the firm’s new European Managing Partner. He will succeed Jonathan Jones effective May 1, 2026.

Mr. Wilkinson has been a partner in the London Office since 2003 and currently serves as European Practice Group Leader for the firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology (IP&T) practice. He advises UK and international businesses on commercial matters and has particular expertise in technology agreements. He assists clients across various industries, including technology, AI, telecoms, fintech, healthcare, advertising, sports, and hospitality and leisure.

The firm has seen significant growth in key practices across the UK and Europe. This includes team hires and senior lateral appointments, particularly Corporate and Private Equity, Financial Services and Litigation, the addition of new areas of expertise in Europe including environmental regulatory and white collar crime, and geographical expansion of its global platform with new offices in Amsterdam, Astana, Baku, Dublin, and Geneva.
