Amelia Durkin is an associate in our Labour & Employment Practice Group, covering all areas of contentious, non-contentious and transactional employment law.

Amelia regularly advises on the employment aspects of high-value mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, Amelia is on hand to support employers with a full range of day-to-day employment law issues.

Experience

  • Advising both vendors and buyers on numerous high-value mergers and acquisitions, providing guidance on due diligence and drafting employment-related provisions within transactional documents.

  • Drafting and negotiating a broad range of employment documentation including contracts of employment, executive service agreements, non-executive appointment letters, consultancy agreements, settlement agreements and workplace policies.

  • Supporting businesses in defending complex employment tribunal claims involving allegations of discrimination, unfair dismissal, harassment and whistleblowing.

  • Supporting large multinational corporations on multijurisdictional redundancy and reorganisation exercises.
