Breanna Ivankovic is an associate in our Litigation Practice who assists in relation to commercial and contractual disputes, as well as corporate shareholder litigation.
Prior to joining the Litigation team, Breanna completed a graduate rotation supporting our Financial Services and Corporate practices. During this time, Breanna gained experience drafting financing and security documents, dealing with security interests over personal property, assisting with due diligence on mergers and acquisitions and dealing with corporate regulators.
Litigation
Assisting on proceedings in relation to alleged misleading and deceptive conduct and breaches of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (Cth) by the former directors of an Australian company in relation to the acquisition of that Australian company.
Assisting on defending a private individual against allegations of, among other things, breach of contract and misappropriating the intellectual property and confidential information of their former employer.
Assisting on a preliminary discovery application requesting the production of confidential documents against the private individual’s current employer commenced by the former employer.
Financial Services and Corporate
Assisting with the refinancing of a metropolitan airport operator’s existing financing and facility arrangements.
Assisting with drafting a suite of financing documents in relation to funds provided by a private equity firm to a private investor.
Reviewing and assisting on a range of security arrangements and agreements in relation to securities under and dealing with the granting and discharging of securities under the Personal Properties Securities Act 2009 (Cth).
Assisting with due diligence in relation to the acquisition of an entertainment company.
Liaising with corporate regulators, including:
The Foreign Investment Review Board in relation to a non-objection notification
The Australian Securities Investments Commission in relation to a company reinstatement
