He represents clients across a broad range of industries in both securing and enforcing their intellectual property, with a particular emphasis on technologies in the mechanical, electrical and computer engineering fields, including wireless communication technologies, robotics and electro‑mechanical systems. Christopher maintains a client‑focused practice grounded in a clear understanding of each client’s business, priorities and risk tolerance.

Christopher’s experience spans patent, trade secret, trademark and copyright disputes. He has experience in patent litigation involving mechanical, electrical and computer‑related technologies, including wireless communication technologies, networking, robotics and electro‑mechanical systems, and is involved in key stages of litigation such as drafting pleadings, infringement, non‑infringement and invalidity contentions, as well as managing complex discovery, collaborating with technical experts and supporting depositions and motion practice. In trade secret matters, Christopher assists clients with developing and managing trade secret portfolios, implementing protection policies and agreements and enforcing and defending misappropriation claims.

Christopher’s patent prosecution experience encompasses preparing and prosecuting US and foreign patent applications in a wide array of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and metallurgical‑based technologies, such as aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, networking, wireless communications, optics, material coatings and material. He assists clients with patent portfolio development and management, freedom‑to‑operate considerations and strategic coordination of prosecution and enforcement efforts, so that patent portfolios are positioned to support litigation, licensing and commercial goals. Drawing on his technical background, Christopher works closely with inventors and inhouse technical teams to translate complex products and processes into clear, defensible patent claims.

On the trademark side, Christopher’s practice includes clearance, prosecution and portfolio management for domestic and international brands. He advises clients on brand development and selection, conducts clearance and risk assessments, as well as manages the filing and maintenance of trademark applications and registrations. Christopher also maintains a robust pro bono practice serving individuals and organizations in the Cleveland‑Akron area. As part of his pro bono work, he regularly volunteers with the LeBron James Family Foundation and the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland.
