Elsa Mora heads the Labour & Employment team in Milan, bringing a hands-on, practical approach to complex employment matters.
She advises both international and domestic clients on everything from day-to-day HR issues to high-stakes corporate projects.
With extensive experience in managing reorganizations, collective dismissal procedures and the termination of senior executives and board members, Elsa is the go-to lawyer for companies navigating change. She also works on collective bargaining, industrial relations and transfer of undertaking projects, including multijurisdictional initiatives, helping businesses handle even the trickiest employment transitions smoothly.
Beyond restructurings, Elsa supports clients on day-to-day consultancy, disciplinary procedures, investigations, gender equity matters, implementation of ethics codes and whistleblowing policies, as well as restrictive covenants and changes to compensation and bonus schemes. She also regularly trains clients on employment law to help them stay ahead of legal and regulatory developments.
Among recent work highlights, Elsa has been assisting a company leader in renewable energy in managing a wide range of employment issues, and she also advised a major market leader in the manufacturing and marketing of mechanical seals systems on a group reorganisation and relevant collective dismissal procedure. Also, Elsa assisted a company in developing strategies for onboarding top managerial talent.
Elsa is the author of several articles on labour law matters and is a frequent speaker at professional conferences and training courses on employment-related themes and a member of AGI – Associazione Giuslavoristi Italiani (Italian employer lawyer association), actively contributing to the Italian labour law community.
