About Gaurav

Gaurav Goel is a registered patent agent in our Intellectual Property & Technology Practice. He brings 20 years of patent law experience, having worked directly with inventors on over 400 original patent applications.

Gaurav’s work has crossed a myriad of sectors and industries, including artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML), semiconductor metrology, CD hybrid integration, optics, optical telecommunication, IT, software, Internet Protocol (IP)-networks, wireless systems, electrical and mechanical systems, databases, nanotechnology, automotive and energy.

Prior to joining the firm, Gaurav was employed at leading law firms in Texas and most recently was in solo practice. Prior to becoming a patent agent in 2005, he served as a product manager for manufacturing, automation and system integration projects. He also founded a Swiss firm N.V.E., where he led teams focused on delivering turkey hardware (HW)/software (SW) systems in LabVIEW/production data systems, as well as advanced graphical user interface (GUI) and workflow processes for companies in the energy, pharmaceutical, electronics, biomedical and transportation sectors. He began his career as a development engineer in Switzerland focused on computerized data acquisition systems and custom software.
