About Jack

Jack O’Shea is a member of the firm’s Public Policy Practice, where he advises clients on federal public policy, public affairs and government relations strategy.

Jack supports companies and industry coalitions in navigating congressional oversight, regulatory actions and executive branch policy processes. His work centers on developing advocacy strategies, preparing clients for engagements with policymakers and translating business objectives into clear, evidence-based policy positions.

Jack joined the firm after roles at two leading public affairs consultancies, where he managed federal advocacy and strategic communications programs for clients in the defense, technology, manufacturing and energy sectors. His experience includes managing structuring public affairs campaigns tied to federal appropriations, national security reviews and multibillion-dollar commercial programs.

Previously, Jack served as press secretary to a frontline member of Congress. In that capacity, he led external communications and supported the member’s work on agriculture, science and technology, as well as district-level priorities. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history and international affairs from the University of Denver.
