Jacob Gabor is an associate in our Restructuring and Insolvency Practice Group. He represents debtors, creditors and other stakeholders in a wide range of restructuring and insolvency matters, including Chapter 11 reorganizations and cross-border cases under Chapter 15. His practice includes litigation involving fraudulent conveyance and preference claims, adversary proceedings and other disputes arising in distressed situations. He is involved in all phases of litigation before federal, bankruptcy and state courts.
In addition to his bankruptcy and insolvency work, Jacob advises clients in a range of business disputes frequently arising in distressed contexts, including breach of contract claims, partnership and ownership disputes, collection matters, foreclosure actions and other debt enforcement and recovery proceedings. He also has significant corporate experience in the entertainment industry, where he has counselled clients on a variety of commercial agreements.
While earning his J.D. from Fordham University, Jacob interned with the Department of Justice’s International Trade Field Office and served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Mark Dillon of the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Department.
