Lorena Lantigua Gonzalez is an associate in our International Dispute Resolution Practice Group based in Santo Domingo. Her practice concentrates on civil and commercial litigation, with a focus on disputes arising in the Dominican Republic.
With over a decade of legal experience, Lorena has represented multinational corporations before courts and state authorities. Her knowledge spans civil, criminal, commercial and real estate litigation, as well as alternative dispute resolution including negotiations, risk mitigation, arbitration, contractual matters, civil liability, title execution and guarantees.
Since 2015, Lorena has practiced at leading Dominican law firms, after beginning her career as a law clerk while in law school. Prior to joining the firm, she represented clients in complex disputes across multiple industries, including financial services, hospitality, commodities and aviation, while also supervising junior lawyers and the law clerk team. She spent two years as a law professor, teaching alternative dispute resolution at a prominent Dominican law school. These roles underscore her strong leadership and mentorship capabilities, which she continues to bring to her practice.

Represented corporate clients in shareholder disputes, in interim relief proceedings (referimiento) and in principal claims.
Represented legal entities in international arbitration administrated by various institutions, including the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Arbitration Court of the Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution of the Santo Domingo Chamber of Commerce.
