Marisa Fernández is a partner in Tax Strategy & Benefits Practice based in our Madrid office.

She specialises in the international tax area. Her particular expertise covers the international tax, international reorganisations, joint ventures, groups restructuring, mergers and acquisitions.

Marisa is a member of the International Fiscal Association.

Experience

  • Advising international joint ventures and acquisitions worldwide, in sectors such as gas and oil, steel and iron, food, fishing, real estate, construction, travel and transportation services.
  • Advising Spanish clients investing abroad as well as foreign groups carrying out projects in Spain.
  • Advising US clients investing in Europe and South America.
  • Advising on numerous transactions in the South American market including advice on international joint ventures and international mergers between European and South American entities and the restructuring of South American groups through the efficient use of holding companies.
  • Advising on the relocation of companies worldwide.
  • Advising individuals and family groups on taxation issues.
