Meghan McDonnell is an associate in the firm’s Restructuring & Insolvency Practice Group and focuses her practice on all aspects of corporate restructurings and insolvency proceedings. In addition to her experience representing creditors and creditors’ committees, Meghan has an extensive commercial litigation background, including in the prosecution and defense of avoidance actions.
Prior to joining the firm, Meghan served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Tiiara N.A. Patton in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio, where she honed her knowledge of the US Bankruptcy Code and Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure by assisting with complex legal issues arising in bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings. In law school, Meghan served as a legal extern to Justice R. Patrick DeWine at the Supreme Court of Ohio, and as a judicial extern to the Hon. Michael H. Watson in the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
