About Simona

Simona Catallo is a qualified labour and employment lawyer, assisting clients in both advisory and litigation matters.

She has experience in providing legal support on individual dismissals, negotiation of settlement agreements, employment aspects of corporate transactions and internal HR procedures.

She has also been involved in projects relating to transfers of undertakings, corporate reorganisations and collective dismissal procedures.

Simona graduated in law from Bocconi University, with a thesis in labour law entitled “Smart Working: From Flexibility to Management by Objectives”.

She has been a member of the Milan Bar Association since January 2024.

Experience

  • Assisting a global medical products and technologies company in all phases of the dismissal for just cause of an executive, including representation before the Italian Court following the employee’s challenge of the termination on grounds of alleged discrimination and retaliation.
  • Assisting a US-listed, world-renowned performance products manufacturer with the labour and employment law aspects of its acquisition of an Italian automotive products company.
  • Assisting a subsidiary of a global aerospace company in all phases of the dismissal for just cause of an executive, including representation before the Italian Court following the employee’s legal challenge seeking compensation and recognition of stock award entitlements.
