The volatility of today's debt and equity capital markets has little historical precedent. Markets remain closed to virtually all issuers and borrowers; businesses face daunting challenges in identifying how to access capital.
How will US public registrants access equity capital during turbulent market conditions?
Our firm’s capital markets authorities will address the special challenges of accessing equity capital when traditional underwriting is unavailable. In addition to discussing well-known solutions such as private investments in public equity (PIPEs), the presentation will include an introduction to standby equity purchase agreements (SEPAs), an innovative, cost-effective financing program that allows public registrants access to equity capital in lieu of, or in combination with, shelf offerings.
The presentation will be conducted by Squire Sanders lawyers who advise many of the country’s leading corporations and financial institutions in their investment and financing transactions. Guest presenters will include professionals from Yorkville Advisors, a New Jersey-based hedge fund, and Auster Capital Partners, a private equity firm specializing in investments in middle market enterprises.
The presentation will also be available as a dial-in webinar for those who cannot join us at our Phoenix office.
Who Should Attend
