The program will be co-chaired by senior corporate counsel.
Topics will include:
When concern over fraud and wrongdoing run high but resources don’t – realistically managing effective investigations and compliance programs
Understanding and addressing new regulations and enforcement options
Dealing with issues related to suppliers, distributors and other third parties
Determining the role of trusted advisers in regulatory relationships and investigations
Handling investigations – conducting interviews and managing privilege, disclosure and discovery
In addition, the event organizers have added a special lunch program, “A Closer Look at the Global Compliance Landscape: What In-House Counsel Need to Know.” It will be presented by Carol A. DiBattiste, senior vice president, privacy, security and compliance, LexisNexis, and will cover a number of related topics in this dynamic area of corporate law.
