Squire Sanders partner David W. Grauer will be a guest panelist on the Health Care Advisory Board’s (HCAB) Web conference “Legal Complexities of PAC Provider Affiliations,” which will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. EST on August 24, 2010.
The Web conference, open to Advisory Board members only, will discuss the growing trend of acute care hospitals entering into clinically focused affiliation agreements with post-acute care (PAC) providers. Mr. Grauer will detail the components of such agreements and explain how they can help hospitals achieve closer alignment with post-acute facilities without making a financial commitment through a joint venture or outright development. Listeners will also have an opportunity to participate in an interactive discussion on PAC issues to further understand the compliance issues surrounding affiliation agreements.
