    The American Bar Association (ABA) Section of State and Local Government Law and Section of Public Contract Law holds their 2012 Spring Meeting and 7th Annual State & Local Procurement Symposium April 19 and 20. Squire Sanders partner Harriet M. Welch will be speaking on the panel “The Ugly Truth: Municipal Restructuring & Bankruptcy.” This panel brings together judicial, legal and academic views on the crises in municipal economics – focusing on lessons learned from municipal bankruptcy, techniques to assist municipalities in economic distress, public pension pressures and the techniques to assist public dialogue in addressing solutions to these current issues.
