Written by Jonathan Kirk QC and James Ross of Gough Square Chambers, this publication is essential reading for either those either involved in the financial services arena or those who require an understanding of the legal framework that underpinning financial services.
Squire Sanders banking partner Richard Morton is contributing editor to the book, and members of Richard’s team, Jeremy Ladyman and Jessica Kolhorn were also contributing authors.
Modern Financial Regulation is the only book to provide a complete guide to the Financial Services Act 2012 and a comprehensive summary of the fundamental changes arising as a result of the Act. All the major changes brought about by the new legislation are covered in detail, as well as the effect that these changes will have upon other key areas of financial regulation including money laundering, consumer credit, e-money and payment services.
