We would like to invite you to a seminar looking at the various labour and employment issues that might arise from changes within an organisation, particularly in relation to transfer of undertaking.
A lot has been discussed and written on the transfer of undertaking processes. Organisations dynamically change – frequent reorganisations, outsourcing of services or sale/lease contracts pose new questions and doubts on application of Article 23(1) of the Labour Code.
The workshop will look at the most recent decisions by the Polish Supreme Court and European Court of Justice and discuss:
Transfer of undertaking – rules, consequences and abuse of rights;
Relations between transfer of undertaking and non-compete agreements, civil law contracts and management contracts, and internal handbooks, regulations or procedures.
This workshop is free of charge and is aimed at HR departments and in-house legal professionals who deal with employment matters.
