Employment Workshop: Pregnancy and Maternity

Region: Europe
13 June 2017
Squire Patton Boggs
Trinity Court
16 John Dalton Street
Manchester

The rights of new and expectant mothers at work is a topical issue at the moment, especially in light of research published last year by the Equality and Human Rights Commission which highlighted the levels of perceived pregnancy and maternity discrimination in the workplace.

Join us at our June Employment Workshop when we will use a practical case study to address:

  • Pregnancy and maternity discrimination – what does the law say?
  • Difficult areas, including redundancy dismissals during pregnancy or maternity leave, entitlement to bank holidays, and bonuses
  • Handling returns to work, including changes to job role and requests for flexible working
  • Common pitfalls and how to avoid them
As always, you will have the opportunity to ask questions of our lawyers as well as to share experiences with other delegates.

This workshop is suitable for Legal and HR professionals.

Registration is at 8:45 a.m. for a 9 a.m. start. The workshop will last 1.5 hours.

Cost - £40 plus VAT
