Denniston will be speaking at The Bond Buyer’s 27th Annual California Public Finance Conference taking place September 25-27 in Carlsbad, California.     On Tuesday, September 26 at 2:45 p.m., Harriet will moderate the panel "Private Placements: More Permanent Part of the Landscape." The panel will discuss the growing trend of the private placement market being utilized as an alternative to bonds, why this trend is continuing and analyzing its advantages.

    Wednesday, September 27 at 9:45 a.m., Karol will be speak on a panel that will discuss “Growing Faster than Debt: Pension Liabilities.” Probably the greatest factor for states and localities while assessing the long-term fiscal health of their economies, the panel will explore the changing pension environment and why pension funding is perceived to hold back greater bonding.
