According to the Mental Health at Work Report 2016, a staggering three in four employees have experienced symptoms of poor mental health and 49% of line managers would appreciate basic training in common mental health conditions. Our workshop brings together some of the UK’s leading lights as well as those involved in the practicalities of delivering an effective mental health and wellbeing agenda to the workplace.

We will be joined by:

  • Andrea Woodside, founding director of Minding Work Ltd. Andrea will explore how to identify the early warning signs of distress in others and how to gain the confidence to offer them the right kind of support as quickly as possible.
  • Sheri Hughes, associate director of PageGroup. Sheri will cover how evolving into an inclusive culture has impacted PageGroup and why mental health is such a key focus for them.
  • Matthew Lewis, partner of Squire Patton Boggs. Matthew will discuss how to navigate through the legal and practical challenges arising from handling mental health and wellbeing issues.

We will address what you need to be aware of in 2017 and beyond.

This seminar is suitable for legal and HR professionals.
