Partners Deirdre Johnson (Washington DC) and Larry Schiffer (New York) will be speakers at ARIAS•U.S. 2018 Fall Conference in New York. Deirdre, who also serves as Chairwoman of ARIAS•U.S., will be speaking on a general session panel about policyholder and direct insurer disputes. Larry will be participating in an ethics session looking closer at lessons from the Second Circuit’s ICA v. Underwriters decision.

The conference will also highlight insurance and reinsurance industry hot topics such as data security best practices, ways to improve the arbitration process and disclosure requirements in various international jurisdictions. The full conference brochure can be found here.

The AIDA Reinsurance and Insurance Arbitration Society (ARIAS•U.S.) is a non-profit corporation founded in 1994 to improve the insurance and reinsurance arbitration process for the international and domestic markets.
