We are pleased to participate in the Society of Maritime Arbitrators (SMA) Seminar titled, “Arbitration: A Better Resolution - Arbitration Rules, Mock Arbitration,” taking place Thursday, April 11, 2019, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Houston, Texas.
This seminar will include discussion of the unique features, benefits and practical application of the SMA Arbitration Rules in any venue, and will conclude with a mock arbitration, followed by a cocktail reception. The event keynote address will feature Rear Admiral Jack Buono, Superintendent of the US Merchant Marine Academy.
Senior partner John Reilly will participate in the opening panel discussion from 9:10 to 10:30 a.m. on “Why Choose Arbitration?” focusing on the Federal Arbitration Act, the differences between arbitration and court proceedings, arbitration clauses and arbitration award enforcement.
