    We will be well represented at the ARIAS•U.S. 2019 Spring Conference in Palm Beach, Florida in early May. Four of our partners are participating as speakers during the three-day conference, who will focus on the impact of changes in the legal, technological and business environments on reinsurance arbitration.

    On Wednesday, Los Angeles partner Gabriel Colwell will be a speaker and New York partner Eridania Perez will serve as moderator on the “Reinsurance for Cannabis-Related Business: A Business Opportunity, or Risk?” panel. During day two’s breakout sessions, New York partner Suman Chakraborty will participate in a roundtable discussion, “Do I Qualify? Navigating the Life Requirement in Arbitration Clause.” And on the last day of the conference, Washington DC partner Deirdre Johnson, who served as chair of ARIAS•U.S. in 2018, will join the “Ask the Experts: Ethics Session” panel.
