This webinar will focus on progress with respect to implementation of the President’s Climate Policy Agenda, including the President’s formal commitment to achieve an economy wide 50% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from 2005 levels by 2030 and the President’s May 20, 2021 Executive Order on Climate-Related Financial Risk. We will highlight the regulatory and budget initiatives announced by the White House and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to implement environmental justice and actions underway. Finally, we will provide an overview of Ohio State University Sustainability Institute’s efforts to advance sustainability and resilience scholarship and activities.
