We are pleased to announce that Alan Friel, global co-chair of the firm’s Data Privacy, Cybersecurity & Digital Assets Practice, and Ann LaFrance, senior partner in the firm’s Data Privacy, Cybersecurity & Digital Assets Practice and vice president of the International Institute of Communications (IIC), will be participating as Session Chair and Moderator, respectively, in the IIC’s Washington DC Telecommunications and Media Forum on December 9. Their online session will explore privacy, security, data protection and trust, as well as the challenges of striking a balance between innovation and consumer protection.
Suzan DelBene, Congresswoman, US House of Representatives, and Alastair Mactaggart, Board Member, California Privacy Protection Agency, will serve as opening speakers of the program. They will be joined by Maureen Mahoney, Senior Policy Analyst, Consumer Reports;
