In conjunction with the Social Mobility Business Partnership, Smart Works and Tent Partnership for Refugees, our half-day Social Mobility Conference will explore the increasing importance of improving this key area for businesses, their locality and employees. We will talk about the principles of social mobility and how different businesses approach it from recruitment, retention and progression and the support that social mobility organisations can deliver.
The programme will feature keynote speakers from social mobility groups and an insightful panel discussion with business leaders from Greggs plc, University of Law, Pennon Group plc, NewDay and Northern Asian Power. You will hear a range of experiences, as well as case studies of success and challenges. No-one has all the answers but the discussion will help to signpost the pathways that you can explore.
