We are delighted to invite you to join us for our Biodiversity Net Gain and Environment Seminar.

This seminar will be focused primarily on biodiversity net gain, following its forthcoming implementation on 12 February 2024, with David Myers and Alex Watts providing legal and commercial insight into how the market is working in practice.

Dr. Rob Stoneman will share examples of The Wildlife Trusts’ national work on green finance and large-scale habitat creation offering permanent gains in biodiversity, and we will be joined by Toby Perkins MP, who will set out Labour’s vision for the environment and discuss current issues in the sector, including biodiversity net gain.

After the discussion, there will be an opportunity to network with speakers and other guests over drinks and light bites.

This session is a must-attend for landowners, conservation bodies, developers and ecologists, as well as potential investors and land managers in biodiversity and ecology generally.

Panellists:

  • David Myers, Director - Planning, Squire Patton Boggs
  • Toby Perkins MP, Shadow Minister - Nature and Rural Affairs
  • Dr. Rob Stoneman, Director of Landscape Recovery, The Wildlife Trusts
