Women in Finance Virtual Panel: Challenges and Opportunities Facing Business in 2024 – A Global Outlook

To celebrate International Women’s Day and in partnership with the newly launched Squire Women’s Affinity Network and the Office of DEI we are delighted to invite you to join us for our upcoming webinar, in which an expert panel will discuss three of the biggest issues of 2024.

Our theme for this year is, Empowered Women, Empower Women, and this webinar will provide you with invaluable insight into the hottest topics affecting all businesses and industries in the year ahead, while also learning how they are perceived by your peers.

The three big issues being discussed will be:

• Severe economic headwinds – Argued by HSBC UK economist, Liz Martins
• Climate change and ESG – Argued by firm partner, Lucy Webster
• Geopolitics – Argued by firm international affairs advisor, Matthew Kirk

The event will be introduced by Paula Laird, head of banking (EMEA) and the panel chaired by former UK ambassador, and now international affairs advisor at the firm, Matthew Kirk. Matthew will set the scene with some insightful commentary on the major political themes for 2024, before handing over to our speakers.

That evening we will then be hosting at our London offices a women’s networking reception, to mark International Women’s Day, for those in London, who would like to network with other female professionals and for an opportunity to meet with the speakers and discuss the topics presented on in more detail.
