Comparison of the Ohio and Federal Historic Tax Credits

    At the end of 2006, the Ohio General Assembly passed legislation establishing a refundable tax credit for the rehabilitation of Ohio's historic buildings. In April 2007 the Ohio Department of Development released proposed regulations that implement the legislation. In June 2007 the Department of Development released the application form and related materials for the Ohio Historic Preservation Tax Credit Program.
