International law firm Hammonds LLP and the Birmingham Post joined forces to host a dinner for senior figures from the local business community.
The dinner, held at Hammonds' offices in Edmund Street, attracted 40 people. Keynote speaker was Professor David Bailey, director of the Birmingham University Business School, who has also been leading the Birmingham Post campaign lobbying for state aid for Jaguar Land Rover. Professor Bailey spoke about the state of the automotive industry post-Budget.
In May 2008, international law firm Hammonds became a limited liability partnership. Hammonds LLP and its affiliated undertakings has offices in Birmingham, Leeds, London and Manchester in the UK, and in Berlin, Brussels, Beijing, Hong Kong, Madrid, Munich and Paris.
