    View Author March 2013

From 23 March 2013, a new business visitor visa for persons visiting Australia was introduced. Known as the Temporary Work (Short Stay Activity) visa, it is part of a move by the Federal Government to streamline the immigration system and reduce the number of different visas currently available. This temporary work visa allows the holder to enter Australia and perform short-term, highly specialised work or participate in events at the invitation of a particular Australian organisation.

This publication provides further details on the short stay working visa.
