    New UK SMP Etc. Rates From April 2018

    The government has announced the proposed weekly rates for Statutory Maternity Pay, Statutory Adoption Pay, Statutory Paternity Pay, Statutory Shared Parental Pay and Statutory Sick Pay from April 2018:
    • SMP, SAP, SPP and SSPP will increase from £140.98 to £145.18
    • SSP will increase from £89.35 to £92.05.

    The revised rates are subject to parliamentary approval.
