Casual Employment Changes in Australia: Preparing Your Organisation for 27 September 2021 (Australia)

    By 27 September 2021, employers in Australia not only need to have assessed their casual workforce and determined whether any of their casual employees are eligible to be offered conversion to permanent employment, but they also need to have made those offers of conversion (or advised a casual employee why they are not able to make the offers). Many employers are only turning their minds to these changes now, and many are unaware that even if a casual employee is not eligible for conversion, they are still due to receive notification from their employer that they have been assessed and why they are not eligible.
