With as much as schools have faced in the last year and a half, Title IX may not be top of mind for many administrators.
But the federal requirements that took effect in August 2020 remain in effect and continue to confuse school districts. The new requirements feature challenging procedural technicalities making it critically important that staff members remain attuned to possible Title IX issues as they arise in order to prevent potential legal issues for districts.
