The Renters’ (Reform) Bill (“the Bill”) was
introduced to Parliament on 17 May 2023
and, if passed, will overhaul the residential
tenancy regime in England. Its aim is to create
a fairer rental market. In this article we summarise the following key proposed changes under the Bill that
are relevant to both landlords and tenants of
residential properties in England:
