Trustees of many schemes are due to carry out their first ORA in spring 2026. Trustees need to plan how to conduct their ORA to suit their scheme and circumstances. If executed well, the ORA should strengthen the scheme’s governance framework, allowing weaknesses to be exposed and addressed, as well as providing comfort to trustees that other aspects of the framework are robust.
