D CEO, produced by D Magazine Partners, has released the 2021 edition of its Dallas 500 list, recognizing Deborah C. Ryan among the most influential leaders in Dallas-Fort Worth. Ms. Ryan is a partner and Americas Chair of the Global Real Estate Practice at Squire Patton Boggs.

Ms. Ryan’s practice includes all aspects of commercial real estate, including investment, development, financing, acquisition, disposition, leasing and restructuring. She is a recognized expert in mixed-use commercial and residential condominiums governed by the Texas Uniform Condominium Act. Ms. Ryan has advised some of the nation’s most active commercial real estate developers in connection with the development and redevelopment of complex, high-profile properties, including historic properties, many of which involve economic incentives from cities and counties in the form of tax increment financing, tax abatements or other economic development tools. Additionally, Ms. Ryan represents both domestic and foreign investors in real estate joint ventures for all product types, including mixed-used, hotel, multifamily, office, industrial and retail. Ms. Ryan also represents a number of Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies.
Throughout her career, Ms. Ryan has served on many civic and non-profit boards. She is currently on the Executive Committee of Uptown Dallas Inc., on the Advisory Board of the The Real Estate Council (TREC) PAC, and a member of The Dallas Assembly. Well-respected in the national real estate industry, Ms. Ryan has been recognized by Expert Guides, Euromoney Americas Women in Business Law, North American News Magazine, Dallas Business Journal, and Real Estate Forum, among others.
