Squire Patton Boggs is proud to announce that it received a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation’s 2021 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality.

Squire Patton Boggs joins a record-breaking 767 businesses that earned top scores on the 2021 CEI, and marks the 13th consecutive year the firm has earned a perfect score.

“Our designation as a ‘Best Place to Work’ is a testament to the firm’s ongoing commitment to furthering equality in the workplace, and we are honored to be ranked among many of our clients and peers,” said Fred Nance, Global Managing Partner and Co-Chair of the Inclusion & Diversity Committee. “Creating a nurturing, inclusive environment is one of our core firm values, where our clients, lawyers and professional staff can be the best versions of themselves.”

“Workplace inclusion and diversity promotes enhanced collaboration, innovation, and is critical to business success. We are proud to be a leader within the legal industry and a champion for the LGBTQ community, added Alethia Nancoo, Global Board Member and Co-Chair of the Inclusion & Diversity Committee.

The CEI rates companies on detailed criteria falling under four central pillars: non-discrimination policies across business entities; equitable benefits for LGBTQ workers and their families; supporting an inclusive culture; and corporate social responsibility.

The Human Rights Campaign Foundation is the educational arm of America's largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual transgender and queer people. HRC envisions a world where LGBTQ people are embraced as full members of society at home, at work and in every community.
