Squire Patton Boggs has won “Corporate Law Firm of the Year” at Insider’s North West Dealmakers Awards 2020.
In addition to winning Corporate Law Firm of the Year, Giles Chesher, head of the Manchester Corporate team, was awarded Highly Commended for Dealmaker of the Year; associate Matt Canipa was shortlisted for Emerging Dealmaker of the Year; and the firm also won “Deal of the Year – £50 million+” for advising on the sale of Miss Group to Perwyn.
Among some extremely strong entries for Corporate Law Firm of the Year, the judges praised the growth of the Squire Patton Boggs team under Giles Chesher.
Mr. Chesher, said, “I am absolutely delighted that we have won Corporate Law Firm of the Year. This is a fantastic achievement and testimony to the hard work and support of everyone in this office.
