International Dispute Resolution Partner Sabrina Aïnouz Appointed ICC Court Member

Squire Patton Boggs is pleased to announce that Sabrina Aïnouz, a partner in its International Dispute Resolution Practice Group, has been re-elected by the ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) World Council as ICC Court member for Algeria for the term of the Court starting 1 July 2021 and ending on 30 June 2024.

The ICC International Court of Arbitration has been helping to resolve difficulties in international commercial and business disputes to support trade and investment since 1923. The work of the members of the ICC International Court of Arbitration ensures the quality and enforceability of ICC Awards, through the scrutiny of ICC arbitral awards and assistance in overcoming procedural obstacles.

Ms. Aïnouz has more than 15 years’ experience representing states, state-owned entities and private sector companies in commercial and investment arbitrations in a wide range of fields including oil and gas, mining, construction, telecommunications, agriculture and post-M&A disputes.

“I am honoured by this appointment,” said Ms. Aïnouz. “I very much look forward to working with President Claudia Salomon, fellow members of the Court and its Secretariat.”
