Squire Patton Boggs Welcomes Three Ukrainian Lawyers to IDR Team as Part of Safe Harbor Project

We are delighted to welcome to our International Dispute Resolution team Yuliia Pavlova, Oleksandra Hnatiuk and Dariia Zyma, associates respectively at Kyiv-based law firms Sayenko Kharenko, Arbitrade and Integrites.

Yuliia and Dariia have started their secondment with Squire Patton Boggs’ Paris office. Oleksandra Hnatiuk joins our Berlin office as part of the Safe Harbor for UA Students initiative. The Safe Harbor for UA Students initiative is a project led by volunteers from the international arbitral community to provide Ukrainian law students, particularly those involved in international mooting activities, with the opportunity to continue their training.

Dariia has practiced law since 2016. Her professional experience focuses on international commercial arbitration (including under LCIA, SIAC, GAFTA, and ICAC at the UCCI rules seated in common and civil law jurisdictions), cross-border commercial litigation and pre-trial settlement of international disputes.

Yuliia specializes in multi-jurisdictional litigation and international commercial and investment arbitration. She has 2 years of experience in representing clients in arbitral proceedings of various national and international institutions including ICAC, FOSFA, LCIA, ICSID, and SCAI.

Oleksandra will graduate from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv this June and has worked as an associate at the arbitration boutique Arbitrade since 2021 (experienced in GAFTA, ICAC at the UCCI proceedings). She is a former Vis Moot and Nuremberg Moot team member, and currently an ambassador and researcher for Arbitrator Intelligence. Prior to joining Arbitrade, Oleksandra assisted a lawyer on corporate and immigration matters for 1.5 years.
