A Squire Patton Boggs team advised FlexGen Power Systems, Inc. ("FlexGen"), a leading energy storage technology platform and solution provider, on FlexGen’s agreement to supply advanced energy storage systems and its HybridOS™ software for SMT Energy's portfolio of ten energy storage projects in Texas.

The 100MW of projects will improve the resilience of the ERCOT grid, which supplies power to more than 25 million Texas customers and represents 90 percent of the state's electric load, enabling integration of intermittent renewable energy, and improving the ability of the grid to balance load and supply in the region.

The Squire Patton Boggs team advising FlexGen included partner Kevin Levey, associate Hannah Zapfe and law clerk Kiah Dixon.

Further details on the project can be found here.
