Squire Patton Boggs Expands Global Trademark Team With Experienced Partner Addition

Trademark partner Candice Kwok has joined Squire Patton Boggs’ global Intellectual Property and Technology practice in Palo Alto from the Singapore office of IP firm Marks & Clerk.

With over 20 years of experience, Ms. Kwok specializes in international trademark portfolio strategy and regularly acts for clients in commencing and defending trademarks in opposition, revocation or invalidation proceedings. Ms. Kwok’s practice includes trademark clearance, filing and prosecuting trademark applications, advising clients on global branding strategies, development and protection of brand names, trade mark dilution prevention and rebranding.

A Singapore native and fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese speaker, and proficient in French and Japanese, Ms. Kwok is a graduate of the National University of Singapore. She was admitted in 2000 to the Supreme Court of Singapore and has been licensed to practice in California since 2010. She has served as the chair of a Subcommittee of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and is presently a member of INTA’s Non-Traditional Trademarks committee.
