The Daily Business Review, with the help of its editorial staff and distinguished members of the Florida legal community, has selected global law firm Squire Patton Boggs as an honoree for this year’s Florida Legal Awards in the “Cross-Border Disputes” category.
The recognition honors teams that have used creative techniques and bold strategies to deliver for their clients in high-stakes cases.
The Squire Patton Boggs team, led by Florida Litigation Department Chair Digna French, stood out for its innovative problem-solving approach representing sovereign nations in complex, multi-jurisdictional matters with strong links to Latin America. Many of these matters were handled in collaboration with members of the firm’s International Disputes Resolution practice including Miami partner Raúl Manon and other IDR practitioners residing in Squire Patton Boggs’ offices around the world.
The team represents clients before civil and criminal courts and tribunals and in government proceedings and investigations worldwide, protecting their strategic investments/projects and commercial operations.
The Daily Business Review will honor recipients at its annual Professional Excellence Awards ceremony, which will be held on May 17 at the JW Marriott Marquis in Miami.
