Squire Patton Boggs has advised CDP Venture Capital sgr on its investment in the $50million Series A funding round of Axelera AI, provider of some of the most powerful and advanced edge AI solutions in the world. The investment was made by CDP Venture Capital Sgr through the Evoluzione fund, joined by Verve Ventures and Fractionelera.
The cross-border team which advised CDP Venture Capital sgr, was led by Corporate partners Sara Belotti and Daniela Sabelli, and included Juancarlos Pirani, Gianluca Valietti, Alessandra Capati, Enrico Calabria in Milan, and Bart Vanderstraete, Amaury de Borchgrave, Alexandra Duysters and Marga Caproni in Brussels.
The funding round will support Axelera AI's global expansion and mass production of its first-generation artificial intelligence acceleration platform, powered by disruptive RISC-V in-memory computing and controlled data flow technology.
