Squire Patton Boggs has advised ASX-listed Tamboran Resources on its capital raise of A$71 million. Tamboran is a natural gas explorational company operating in the Beetaloo Basin in the Northern Territory in Australia. The capital raise was split between a two-tranche placement to new and existing institutional shareholders to raise A$52 million, a convertible note issue with Helmerich & Payne of A$13 million and a A$5 million share purchase plan (SPP).
The team advising Tamboran Resources was led by Sydney Corporate partner Ashley Rose and included fellow partner Michael Gajic, tax counsel Louise Boyce, associates Matt Flanagan-Roberts, Sarah Roper, Sophie Davey, David Horton and Georgia Mateer. Columbus partner Aaron Seamon, along with senior associate Michael Fisher advised on US aspects of the transaction.
